We offer over 30 career programs every academic year. These programs help build skills and knowledge to prepare students and alumni for the professional world. Topics include resume building, portfolio development, interview strategies, networking, freelancing, and much more! Additionally, we also put on multiple recruiting events each year that connect students with employers and professionals. Lastly, we'll go over how to sign up to meet with organizations in attendance. First Year Undergrad Students are not eligible to attend Internship Connect, but they are welcome to attend this prep program.

Visa Options in the U.S. Workshop

Immigration attorney, Eileen Morrison, will present visa eligibility details for visas such as the H-1B, O1, EB2, TN and more. Students eligible to participate will be notified about the sign up process via email in early October. Sign-ups open Wednesday, October 19th at 6:00 PM ET. Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors, 5th Years, and all grad students are eligible to participate.

Soon after graduating with a BFA in Printmaking from RISD, Qualeasha Wood 19 PR began taking the art world by force. Qualeasha has experienced extraordinary success and her work has been permanently collected by the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City and graced the cover of Art in America. She also became an Artist in Residence at the Studio Museum in Harlem among her many accomplishments since graduation. Her secret? It's the same thing that got her through RISD - having AUDACITY.

Receive $5,000 for your summer internship and be part of RISD's prestigious Maharam Fellowship! Learn everything you need to know to make a strong and compelling application. This award has been opening new avenues for RISD talent in organizations where artists and designers are not typically found or where artists/designers can contribute to the mission of the organization in a meaningful way. Maharam is committed to making the art and design world more fair, diverse and creative. The Fellowship will focus on two of the most urgent issues of our time - social justice and sustainability. The Fellowship will support internship work that aspires to advance social progress or safeguard the environment or even combine both of these important issues. At the Info Session you’ll learn about the Fellowship and hear from past RISD Fellows about their successful experiences.
