Grants & Residencies Manager & Fulbright Program Advisor
Lisa crisscrossed the country (from Minnesota to Oregon to Rhode Island), mixed in a stint in Japan, and ultimately found her way to RISD where she brings her expertise in international education and grant management, along with artistic sensibilities gained through a little play with clay. Growing up in a small-town motel (literally a motel) exposed her to travelers of all sorts and led her to pursue an international education at the urban University of Minnesota. There, she received a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and a Master of Arts in International Development Education. Lisa continues her life-long journey considering questions and responses to immigration, global systems, cultural exchange, community building, and experiences of being othered.
Fun Fact: A few of Lisa's favorite things? Kitties, bodies of water, and music – just not all at the same time.
